Dedicate Sponge Roller Cleaning Machine

After PVA sponge forming and cutting process, the sponge roller shall goes through several steps of cleaning process to ensure meeting the cleanliness specification. Because of it porous nature, many particles and residual is easily trapped between the porous.

In order to maintain a consistent cleaning result, we have designed and installed dedicate sponge roller cleaning machine in our final cleaning process. Every sponge roller will goes through this auto-cleaning machine to ensure the stringent cleanliness standard is met.

This dedicate auto- cleaning machine can be operated with several control parameters, such as:

• Solution flow rate
• Temperature
• Scrubbing Interference Distance
• Cleaning Time

With this auto-cleaning machine, we are able to optimize the cleaning setup to ensure customer cleanliness specification is met.

Cleanliness Measurement

After the sponge goes through the auto sponge cleaning machine, we will perform contamination check on the cleaned sponge roller. The sponge will goes through:

• IC Test. We check total of 8 ions elements to ensure cleanliness requirement.
• Spectrometer Test. With this spectrometer, we are able to check organic contamination existence in our sponge roller.

With these 2 cleanliness measurement criteria, we have better knowledge and confident on the residue in the sponge roller.

Commitment on Cleaning Sponge Roller

Our sponge has achieved one of the high cleaning standards in the HDD and semiconductor industries. However this does not stop us from improvement. The auto-cleaning machine is the latest innovative design we establish for cleaning the sponge roller. By controlling the cleaning parameters, we are able to achieve consistent cleaning result with minimum fluctuation due to other factors.
